oils used vary by region but include Palm Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Coconut Oil,
Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter. The different oil combinations result in the
color variations. The lye that is used to make African Black Soap can be
derived from the ashes of several plant sources, including cocoa pods,
Shea tree bark, plantin leaves and by products of Shea Butter production.
Most important, the soap is made with hand make lye in small batches and
is not manufactured in factories with commercial lye and refined oils. Our
African Black Soap is made with 45% Pure, Unrefined Shea Butter and
Virgin Palm Kernel Oil.. No chemicals, detergents or synthetic additives.
Enhanced with Tahitian Vanilla Oil for fragrance.
