| Incorporate your loving memory of family and friends with Hullmark’s Memorial Tribute Candle. Our Personalized Memorial candles are available in two styles, Pillar Style or Hurricane Style, in various sizes and shapes. The solid pillar style, gives you a choice of candle top inserts: replaceable tea light, a liquid candle or replaceable votive candle (size determines insert) . The hurricane style combines wax and a resilient plastic for a strong durable candle and uses a replaceable votive candle. Just new to our line of memorial candles is our electric memorial candle. The hurricane style can be adapted to use a night light bulb. ( 4 x 6 Round Only) We have several standard designs available or we can personalize your specific request. Send us an e-mail requesting a custom design layout and quote. Please refer to the order form for the necessary information we need to design your candle Be sure to include the candle style, size and shape, name, date of birth and date of death, poem/verse, color scheme, photo or image to be included. Photo work can be included at a $5 additional charge. If you send us a Kodak print it will be returned to you in its original condition with your candle. If your photo is in digital format (jpg. image) you can email it to Hullmark Candles. A proof edition of your candle will be e-mailed to you for your approval before construction as customized candle can not be returned. Please contact us for a price quote. |
Pillar Styles
Hullmark’s “Candle Within A Candle” is also know as a hurricane candle, hurricane shell or luminaria. The wax shells are made
from a special high melt-point paraffin wax with added hardening agents that help resist melting. The candle portion of the
“Candle Within A Candle” is a small votive which can be replaced when used or to change scents. When lit, the votive candle
inside casts a beautiful glow without damaging the shell. Ideally, a hurricane candle will allow light to pass through the
walls and produce a nice warm glow when the inner candle is lit. Thus, the beauty lasts and the replacement votive costs
only pennies. Hullmark’s “Candle Within A Candle” are more economical and safer than pillar candles because there is no more
dripping wax, and with the flame contained, there is far less chance for accidents. Your candle can be cleaned with a damp soft
cloth. All candles have a protective covering on the bottom to protect furniture. Hurricane candles can be adapted as an electric
night light.
